So Persil can do a wash at 15 degrees, but how many machines go that low? Mine doesn't :(

So we need to spend about £400 or so, to save about £50 :hmmm:

I can set any temperature I like on my 15 year old AEG, have tried 30C washing powders in there but they don't do a good job.

I'm sticking with 40C for nearly everything. :):

... and I would also be concerned about the toxicity of the chemicals used to compensate for the lack of temperature.

Persil can fuck off. They probably also make sexist adverts with women wearing hideous advert trousers and sporting a false grin.

The other issue is what about in hot waether. it's much hotter than 15 degrees right now. so does the machine use energy cooling the water down to 15 degrees :)
