So have you tried it? Have you even heard of it before?

Its a real interesting idea, just wondering how it works and if it works :confused:

What it is, in there words;
Yoosk is an interactive interview magazine which enables you to participate in the news gathering process by putting your questions to politicians & celebrities
Six ways to do it
1.Put your questions directly to public figures
2.Get votes for them by mailing & bookmarking
3.Vote for other users’ questions
4.View answers & say what you think of them
5.Join a community of news enthusiasts
6.Submit your own ideas for interview features

Editors, reporters and bloggers use our software to set up your own Yoosk. Then use our widget to collect your users’ questions. Public figures get closer to constituents, fans and customers, answer their questions directly to webcam

It was predicted that the arrival of Web 2.0 would herald an era of citizen journalism. While this hasn’t yet happened on the scale that some commentators imagined, sites such as Yoosk definitely look to play their part in democratising the media. Essentially Yoosk is a new community of reporters, which is staffed by ‘ordinary’ people. So can you simply log on and put your question directly to Boris Johnson, Amy Winehouse or whoever else you may have beef with. If the question reaches 100 votes Yoosk will do their best to get an answer. For the casual browser there are interesting topics to peruse, including cycling etiquette, money in football and Muslims in the UK.

Has anyone tried this?
