The lies regarding the Zionist/Neocon Iraq Invasion extended further than just the fabricated WMD 'evidence' by Ahmed Chalabi.
Doctored Photo from the London Evening Standard
On 9 April 2003, the front page of the London Evening Standard (circulation: 400,000) contained a blurry image supposedly showing a throng of Iraqis in Baghdad celebrating the toppling of Saddam Hussein. What we are really looking at is an incredibly ham-fisted attempt at photo manipulation.
The source of the image is footage from the BBC. The Standard's paperboys were obviously allowed to clone and blur the image in numerous ways to make it look like a gigantic crowd. This was first exposed Simone Moore and posted on the UK Indymedia site. The image below is a dissection of the fakery by an IndyMedia user called Gnu and a Memory Hole reader called Daedalus.
The red circles show a man in a turban who appears three times. The purple circles highlight an unknown object that appears four times (it's smudged in its rightmost incarnation). The darker blue circles show two instances of an identical white object, disembodied arm, and partial male faces. The yellow ovals show a partial male face and another one or two objects that appear as a group thrice. Similarly, the orange ovals highlight some sort of conglomeration that was duplicated. The two lighter blue circles are around an indistinct blob that appears on top of itself, while the bright green circles show yet another man who appears twice in the scene.
The black circles show something a little different. Obviously, two different still-frames from the footage were used, because the man with sunglasses and white, open-collar shirt appears twice but in a different pose, as do the men on either side of him.
The green line indicates where the image was clumsily smudged in order to cover up the fact that it had been stitched together.
And take a look at the guy who's just to the right of center. His forearm is unnaturally long and very strangely shaped, becoming razor-thin at the wrist. What is this, a Salvador Dalí painting?
Below, The Memory Hole has cut and pasted the object which reappear. They've been placed side by side so that there can be no doubt that they show the exact same thing.
Naturally, The Memory Hole is incensed at this blatant lie--drastically altering a news image in order to present as reality something that never occurred. Yet at the same time we're doubled over in laughter at the sheer incompetence of this hack job. Truly, Stalin's propagandists were doing the same thing better in 1930.

Fake 'Dancing In The Streets' - 'Free Iraqi Forces' Get Around
April 6th: Iraqi National Congress founder, Ahmed Chalabi is flown into the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah by the Pentagon. Chalabi, along with 700 fighters of his "Free Iraqi Forces" are airlifted aboard four massive C17 military transport planes. Chalabi and the INC are Washington favorites to head the new Iraqi government. A photograph is taken of Chalabi and members of his Free Iraqi Forces militia as they arrive in Nasiriyah.
April 9th: One of the "most memorable images of the war" is created when U.S. troops pull down the statue of Saddam Hussein in Fardus Square. Oddly enough... a photograph is taken of a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to one of Chalabi's militia members... he is near Fardus Square to greet the Marines. How many members of the pro-American Free Iraqi Forces were in and around Fardus Square as the statue of Saddam came tumbling down?
The up close action video of the statue being destroyed is broadcast around the world as proof of a massive uprising. Still photos grabbed off of Reuters show a long-shot view of Fardus Square... it's empty save for the U.S. Marines, the International Press, and a small handful of Iraqis. There are no more than 200 people in the square at best. The Marines have the square sealed off and guarded by tanks. A U.S. mechanized vehicle is used to pull the statue of Saddam from it's base. The entire event is being hailed as an equivalent of the Berlin Wall falling... but even a quick glance of the long-shot photo shows something more akin to a carefully constructed media event tailored for the television cameras.
You'll also notice that the Ahmed Chalabi henchman pictured in the red circle is the guy with his arms in the air in the front of the faked Evening Standard Picture in the OP.
The pulling down of Saddam's Statue andthe shoe hitting was a media staged affair. While this was going on the Neocons were illegaly changing Iraq's laws to allow the removal of unlimited wealth from the country tax free and impunity from the law

Chalabi was convicted and sentenced in absentia for bank fraud by a Jordanian military tribunal. He faces 22 years in prison, should he again enter Jordan.
Unsurprisingly, Chalabi was a hero as far as the American and British governments were concerned!

Once again the news media of the world is caught printing fake news and photographs. Last year alone, Reuters News was forced to admit that over a thousand of its news photos and stories in the last two years were false, faked or entirely staged to “create” news. This time it is faked photographs of Iranian missiles being launched. It turns out that some of the missiles didn’t launch at the test, but what the heck… no problem… a little PhotoShop and the missile test is successful!
At least with blogs the consumers of news have opportunities to discuss, research and correct the news, but if citizens disagree with CBC or The Nation - well, it is “letter to the editor time” and you know how far that gets you!

This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop “clone” tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)
It’s so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. There’s really no question about it.
But it’s not only the plumes of smoke that were “enhanced.” There are also cloned buildings. (See below.)

Ace has been saying for a week that mainstream media is headed for a major meltdown, by outsourcing so much of their reporting to low-paid foreign stringers with highly questionable loyalties and ethics.
This looks like that meltdown.

Notice the lower right area of this photo, and compare to lower left of the doctored photo. Notice how all the buildings line up perfectly, including the oddly shaped building on the horizon. I’m putting together another overlay to make it painfully obvious.

I'm not surprised to be honest. The Zionist MO for propaganda works upon a foundation of lies. We heard a whole host of lies during the recent Isreali atrocities against Gaza. Also, if you have ever been involved in anything deemed newsworthy it is never reported as it actually happened. The truth is always manipulated to make it seem more (or less) newsworthy.

most of those weren't even locals they were the henchmen of Ahmed Chalabi, the guy who fabricated the WMD evidence. See one of the posts above.
