Well there's 7billion people in the world. We can't get all upset every time one of them dies. Some Z-list celebratory dying is no different for me than any other ordinary unknown person dying.

But I was a huge fan of prince, a musical genius and him dying at such an early age of 57 is something I find extremely saddening. No I'm not in tears though

Ive been moved a hell of a lot more by certain music/musicians than by some family members. And been more upset that one of them has passed away too. Also learned more from music in a plethora of ways.
Crumbs is a fucking moron.

I think there is a huge difference between the tedious Z list 'Celeb', famous for fames sake for getting their tits out at some red carpet event or something and a proper Megastar, famous for the joy they have brought to millions with their art.

Prince not only brought joy to millions with his music and poetry but will have also inspired countless people to follow in his footsteps.. Some will have made the big time and others may only be strumming away in their spare room or listening on their Ipod but the joy remains the same and as a music lover, Today is a very very sad day.

R.I.P Prince :(

People like Prince, Freddie Mercury, etc are ( were ) special and very rare. In hundreds of years time they will be still revered in the same way people like Shakespere and Mozart are revered today.

These people have given me so much pleasure and inspiration in life that I feel no guilt for being upset that they have died

Those kind of people made an impact on peoples lives.....not crumbs though, obviously....and it is saddening that we will hear no more new music from them, unless they have some we haven't heard stashed away in the studio like Jeff Healy did, and Hendrix, and Cash....etc.

Prince was weird, he had some strange ideas, but, damn, he could play an instrument.

Purple Rain is a timeless classic and comparable to any Mozart or Beethoven.

Bronski Beat is comparable to Chykofski in Lord Chins' world, innit!
