Is the Reflex in Putney still there?

I used to frequent the Reflex in Putney a lot about 1992-1993. It was great poppy dance music and I picked up a few quality gentlemen there, despite me and my mates calling it the Rejects.

I wondered if it's still there and still a gay club on the weekends?

I don't recall, Mapp. If so, I wonder what happened to the actual club itself? I'll have a trawl on the internet.

What's the Kingston one like?

Well Lu Lu dear, the Kingston one has a marble floor and statues of naked Greek people. I was quite shocked! It was like going into Quaint Irene's studio! I think mirrors also came into the equation somewhere but I did not take much notice as the popular music was louder than my dear Major Benjy shouting in his loudest Hindustani "Qwai hai!"

Thats alll I remember!

Hilarious! I love Quaint Irene's "vigorous" naked people!

Did you go to the Kingston Reflex for un po' di mu'?

Sounds like you had a good time there - I hope a Major Benjy made your evening!
