I haven't upgraded to 6 yet. I wouldn't use SX3 as it's infested with dongle calls. A mid version of Cubase 4 fixed this IIRC.

Yeah, the dongle calls are every 20 or so uses of SX. I have to take the dongle out, then plonk it back in again.

eh?

20 or so uses?

That doestn' sound right. When I meant the dongle calls, I mean the dongle is called several times for lots of different audio engien functions, Everything from inserting a plugin to rerouting an audio track, etc. the more complex the project the number of dongle calls exponentially rises. I used to have wait 30 seconds after inserting a plugin, before I had control of cubase again, becuase thousand of dongle calls were being sent back and forth to the dongle

Nothing like that Paul, I wonder if the eLicenser update took care of the calls thing and changed it so you could only use it so many times then had to feck around with the dongle and then use it another 20 or so times and so on? :chin:
Feckin annoying anyway

There was a documentary on Holst the other night and I missed it. Would have been interesting, he wasn't the nice guy that wrote the Planets apparently..............

:) Oddly enough, the year after he wrote the planets, Herschel discovered Pluto  However, it's since been discovered (I think) that Pluto isn't a planet so he was correct to have stopped just after Uranus  with Neptune :splif:

Is it silly to always use a Uranus gag whenever possible?
