Not sure I'd watch many of that selection, they are rather - errr - Christmassy. Though been a long time since I've seen the Die Hard thing - can't remeber if it was any good.

Got about ten movies on my PVR. plus some blu-rays and DVDs to watch over the Xmas TV desert.

Never forget the iron law of unintended consequences

Love some of those films, Doc. I liked the Patrick Stewart "Scrooge", better than I thought being a TV movie. Not as good as the classic Alistair Sim version but nobody's gonna get near that for quality :splif:

Seen all the Die Hard's but they're pretty good, that 4th one takes some swallowing but it's all good fun.

You probably need Duck Soup in that collection, absolute genius. Best Marx Brothers movie by a mile.

Sounds of Music? Bound to be on.

Jason and the Argonauts too, awesome.

Not seen the BBC TV listings yet so looking forward to perusing that, even if it's just to say "seen it, seen it, seen it........" :)

Jason and the Argonauts is on on 4 January! I always remember it being on on Christmas Eve afternoon!

A Christmas Carol is my second favourite story after Dracula! The Alastair Simm Scrooge (which isn't the original believe it or not) is not on this year but the Patrick Stewart one (which I am not keen on) is as is the dire Jim Carrey version and the other animated version with Nicolas Cage!

The other film that I will be watching is the original Miracle on 34th Street, not the crap remake!

MERRY CHRIMBO!! :D
