The Fighter

Watched it the other night. My conlusions:

Christian Bale is a superb actor.
Mark Wahlberg most definitely isn't.
Amy Adams has deceptively small breasts but I would happily throw one up her.

Enjoyed the film, especially as it's a true story. :clap:

Few people outside of boxing fans have ever heard of Mickey Ward. I'm a huge boxing fan and although I haven't yet seen this film I believe that Ward's iconic fight trilogy against Arturo Gatti isn't featured due to the timeline of the movie. On the one hand, that was an opportunity lost. On the other, I doubt a film re-enactment could do them justice. The first fight, especially round 9, is the closest thing to a Rocky film you're likely to see.
