Clarissa Dickson Wright, one half of TV cookery duo Two Fat Ladies with the late Jennifer Paterson, has died in Edinburgh aged 66.

The former barrister filmed three series of the BBC Two programme before Paterson's death in 1999.

I thought she was older than that. Certainly a character and probably a good cook, though I never tried her recipes.

She loved her saturated fat and said it was healthy, maybe her death is just a coincidence. :):

RIP

Never really watched their cooking progs. Not sure about saturated fat being healthy. Certainly not if you consume large amounts of it

I have never done hare coursing meself.
Watched gypos in Bulkington with lurchers a long time back and plod turned up in numbuz, they assumed I waz with them but I explained.

The actual coursing by an intelligent experienced dog is very interesting.
Harez are not alwayz caught, dogz get horrible injuriez.

The weird thing is that coursing hares is illegal, but coursing rabbits isn't. Obviously the powers that be think that rabbits are a lower life form or something

Zummerzet b'aint it ? Anyway, coursing is apparently 'sport'. Watching your dogs snuff a badger with one hand down your trousers isn't.
