That is very sad Dolls ...what a tragic few years that family have gone through .....but she did not DIE of BREAST cancer ...she died of a secondary cancer ....what a stupid news agency the BBC is to scare women that breast cancer is a killer ...right on the back of the Coronation street actress story ....just dreadful :(

I know love and its just wrong ..she had a double mastectomy I think .....but imagine a woman being told the bad news tomorrow ......it all about fear ...and you need us to save you ......I just feel sick ...they have no shame :( poor Vanessa :(

I agree about the scaremongering. On the other hand is it not better to encourage people to check their 'glands' regularly. I've just had a testicle ultrasound after finding a hard lump on my right bollock (see check your balls thread). Thankfully it was only fluid apparently, but early detection saves lives and all that.

:howl: TIT :D I still say sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.....I have never been for a check up in 5 years and I never will again .
